Music business in the 17th and 18th centuries was often a family affair. Siblings, (grand-)children and parents or other, more distant relatives, built a network of successful musicians and teachers, thus becoming known across Europe. In Sounds Familiar Tabea Debus and Alon Sariel have picked some of these famous family names and built a joyful programme of both familiar and less familiar baroque music circling around these family ties.
