Roeland Hendrikx has a successful dual career as a soloist and an orchestral musician.
Roeland Hendrikx, clarinet-solo of the Belgian National Orchestra, has earned the reputation of being one of classical music's finest solo, chamber and orchestral musicians. Before joining the National Orchestra of Belgian in 2003, he was es-clarinet solo at "La Monnaie", the National Opera of Belgium for 6 years.
Roeland appeared as a soloist with several European and North-American orchestras.
As a distinguished chamber musician, Roeland Hendrikx has performed at well known music-festivals in Europe, Japan and the US. He collaborated with fantastic artists and string quartets.
Roeland is professor of clarinet at the Maastricht Conservatory (The Netherlands) and the Lemmensinstitute (Leuven, Belgium). He has given master classes in Japan, Chicago, New-York, L.A., Oklahoma and Atlanta.
In 2014 he started his own chamber music ensemble.
Roeland is Selmer-artist.
